As the Maverick's Wave to Wave 2011/2012 window closes we celebrate the year.  We review our history now being played out in movie making.  We can not help but pause to honor those who have passed and to create new rewarding memories all in one place; a place known as MAVERICKS.

Come celebrate with local & international surfers who were brave enough to "ride the challenge" of the mountain waves.  Even though Hollywood came and took alot of wave time there was still enough giant wave action to go around.  The experience left many generations in ahhh.  Come be part of local history as we gather in honor...and have some FUN in Halfmoon Bay, CA.

The Expendables will be performing, a cool skate park for all ages is set ready to "Grind Out Hunger," there will be various vendors, along with surf pros receiving their awards PLUS all of the stellar highlights will be played on a large JumboTron screen reviewing all of the Epic shots of the 2011/2012 season.
