Teacher Detained In Egypt

Kathleen Crocetti is being detained in Egypt.  Crocetti and her husband, Bill Lucas are two of dozens of peace activists being detained by authorities.

The couple lives in Watsonville and traveled overseas to deliver a multi-panel mural to a community center in the war-torn region between Israel and Egypt.

But in her blog, Crocetti said police detained them on Monday near the Egypt-Gaza border.

Crocetti said authorities give the couple an hour a day to use a posh hotel to use the internet.  But she's concerned about next week, that's when she's expected to return to work at Mission Hill Middle School.
