Rare Tornado Touches Down in Watsonville

A rare tornado rips through Watsonville on Saturday, after winter weather wreaked havoc all over the country this past weekend.  The question many of you posted on our Facebook page:  why are we just now hearing about this tornado?  So we went to see the damage first hand and spoke with experts about why this is so uncommon. 

Meteorologists said it started as a waterspout over the Monterey Bay, then turned into a tornado when it moved onshore it lasted for about three minutes, leaving about a mile's worth of destruction in its path.

A push-up bikini top may not sound to racy, until you find out that it is for a 7-year-old. The Ashley Push-Up triangle bikini is in the current spring line for Abercrombie Kids.

As you can probably imagine, many parents are saying the swimsuit it too sexy for children.

Some experts also believe the clothing can even be dangerous, saying it gets young girls to think about themselves in sexual ways.

Abercrombie & Fitch released a statement saying it has removed the words "push-up" from the description of the top on its website. However, the padded tops are still available.

Fans of Central Coast News seemed to be split about what the think of a children's push-up bikini.

Felicia Nicole Cota wrote "provocative??? children Don't even know what that means! All they know is they look cute and feel cute. Is that so wrong?"

Ashley Ray wrote, "Looking CUTE is one thing...

Industry Insider: Gas Will Be $5 a Gallon in 2012

If you cringed when gas reached $3 a gallon you may have a heart attack when you hear what the former president of Shell Oil has to say about gas prices. In an interview with Platt's Energy Week, John Hofmeister said that Americans could be paying $5 for a gallon of gasoline by 2012.

"I'm predicting actually a worse outcome over the next two years, which takes us to 2012 with higher gasoline prices," said Hofmeister.

So why the high gas prices? In the interview Hofmeister predicts that it is because of growing global demand for oil, tighter supplies, and inadequate responses by the US government.

9 year-old Shelby O'Neil from San Juan Bautista is very proud of her tomatoes and was probably a little shocked to find that one of her tomatoes has a face.

This little guy came just in time for Halloween and seemd pretty intent on going as a Jack-o-Lantern

The family says, "It's nothing we did, it just came out this way!"

Home Shot, Homeowner Brings Police Bullets

From the Santa Cruz Sentinel:

Someone fired at a house on the 400 block of McKenzie Court several times late Tuesday.  Nobody was hurt, but the homeowner wanted answers.

So he brought six shell casings and three spent rounds to the police station as evidence!
